Abstract

The invention discloses a call forwarding method and system, a network server and a terminal, and belongs to the technical field of communications. The method comprises the steps that a forwarding request sent by the terminal and for forwarding an old number to a new number is received, wherein the forwarding request contains setting of forwarding prompting modes; forwarding registering is conducted on the old number and the new number according to the forwarding request and the corresponding forwarding prompting mode is set; a call request for the old number is received; according to the old number, the corresponding forwarding prompting mode is queried; according to the forwarding prompting mode, the call request is processed. By the adoption of the call forwarding method, after the forwarding request sent by the terminal is received, registering is conducted on forwarding according to the forwarding prompting mode contained in the forwarding request, and the call request is processed according to the register forwarding prompting mode after the call request for the old number is received.
