The webpage running method comprises the steps of extracting subject content from a webpage; obtaining keywords which are associated with the subject content from a database and generating a page which comprises the number of clicks, the number of purchase, the number of search and the number of display for every keyword; calculating correlation coefficients of the keywords of the pages based on the number of clicks, the number of purchase, the number of search and the number of display of the keywords in the pages; selecting the keywords according to a sequence that correlation coefficients are from high to low to serve as display keywords, wherein the keyword is equal to a preset value; combining the pages which comprise the display keywords to serve as display content of the webpage. The invention also provides the system utilizing the webpage running method. According to the webpage running method and system, the correlation degree of page content and the subject content is judged to select the matched page content and accordingly the valuable information which is associated with the subject content can be obtained by a user conveniently.
