The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and device for determining an object attribute value based on a CSV (Comma Separated Values) file. The method comprises the following steps: setting annotation information for the attribute of an object, wherein the annotation information contains serial number information of columns corresponding to the attribute in the CVS file; analyzing a row record in the CVS file; according to analysis results, saving the numerical values of each column of elements in the row record according to a preset data structure; determining the attribute with the annotation information in the object, and analyzing the annotation information of the attribute to obtain the serial number information of columns in the CVS file corresponding to the attribute; according to the serial number information, obtaining a corresponding element from the data structure; determining the value of the attribute as the value of the element. According to the method and the device, the maintenance cost and the error probability can be reduced.
