Abstract

The invention discloses an ammopiptanthus mongolicus drought induced related gene, and an expression vector and application thereof, and belongs to the fields of separation and application of plant resistance genes. The invention provides a drought induced gene cDNA (complementary deoxyribonucleic acid) full-length sequence separated from ammopiptanthus mongolicus. A nucleotide sequence is shown as SEQ ID NO.1, and a coded amino acid sequence is shown as SEQ ID NO.2. The invention also provides a recombinant plant expression vector and a recombinant host cell containing the gene. The invention further provides a method for improving the drought stress resistance of a plant or cultivating a new variety of a drought-resistant transgenic plant. The method comprises the following steps: constructing the recombinant plant expression vector containing the drought induced related gene cDNA; transforming the recombinant plant expression vector into a receiver plant or a plant cell; performing cultivation and screening to obtain a transgenic plant with improved drought stress resistance. The separated drought induced related gene plays an important application role in improvement of the plant adverse resistance or cultivation of the new variety of a transgenic plant with the improved drought stress resistance.
