The water transportation system comprises an LNG storage module, a power traction device and at least four cables, wherein the LNG storage module comprises a box cylindrical foundation and a caisson structure arranged on the box cylindrical foundation; the box cylindrical foundation is of a cavity structure which is formed by encircling a top plate and a skirting board and has an open end; the cavity structure is internally provided with multiple open cabins; the skirting board is provided with multiple air valves communicated with the open cabins; the caisson structure comprises a caisson bottom plate, caisson sidewalls and a caisson top plate; the caisson bottom plate, the caisson sidewalls and the caisson top plate are connected to form a cavity; the cavity is used for bearing the LNG storage tank; the caisson bottom plate is arranged on the top plate; the two ends of each cable are respectively connected to the LND storage module and the power traction device.
