The device comprises an instant positioning and map construction unit which is used for performing instant positioning and map construction in an unknown environment, a communication unit which is used for communicating with an external guide system to obtain direct map or positioning information and further communicating with an external regional server to obtain regional map information, and a processing unit which is used for further amending an instant positioning and map construction result obtained by the instant positioning and map construction unit based on data obtained by the communication unit and simultaneously sending the amended result back to the regional server via the communication unit to facilitate updating of a regional map.
