The weighting comparison method comprises the steps as follows: S1, collecting and building a training set which comprises sharp and artificially-blurred iris images, obtaining ROIs (regions of interest) through preprocessing the training set, switching the ROIs under polar coordinate systems, performing feature extraction on the ROIs, comparing paired sharp and artificially-blurred iris images, obtaining general reliability maps of codes of motion-blur iris images, and normalizing the reliability maps to obtain weighting matching templates for motion blurs; and S2, obtaining the ROIs through preprocessing the iris images to be recognized, meanwhile, judging lengths and directions of the motion blurs, switching the ROIs to the polar coordinate systems, performing feature extraction on the ROIs, and adaptively performing weighting comparison on the weighting matching templates for the motion blurs obtained in the S1 and samples in a registry according to the lengths and the directions of the motion blurs of the iris images.
