Abstract

An LED lighting unit 2 for a vehicle such as a motorcycle includes two plate-like members 31 and 41 on which LED apparatus 60 and 70 are mounted as light sources, and reflectors 34 and 44 disposed to cover the LED apparatus 60 and 70 and reflect light from the LED apparatus 60 and 70 forwards. The two plate-like members 31 and 41 are disposed facing each other with a space 50 provided therebetween, with the LED apparatus 60 and 70 mounted on the outer sides. Cooling fins 35 and 45 are provided on the plate-like members 31 and 41 and extend into the space 50.
