Embodiment Construction

[0019] figure 1 is a schematic diagram of a robot device according to an embodiment of the present invention. A base station 120 and a robot 140 are included. The base station 120 also includes a transmitter 122 through which the pilot signal ST is transmitted. The robot 140 comprises a first receiver (eg: central receiver 142), a second receiver (eg: right receiver 146) and a third receiver (eg: left receiver 144), wherein the central receiver 142, the left receiver The receiver 144 and the right receiver 146 are both used to receive the guidance signal ST. The left receiver 144 and the right receiver 146 are respectively arranged on the left side and the right side of the robot 140 at different angles. A central receiver is arranged in the center of the robot 140 142, such as figure 1 shown. The robot 140 determines the direction in which the robot 140 goes around according to the guidance signals received by the left receiver 144 and the right receiver 146, and after st...

Abstract

The invention discloses a robot device. The robot device comprises a base station and a robot. The base station transmits guiding signals. The robot respectively receives the guiding signals through three receivers, wherein one receiver is configured on the robot, and the other two receivers are respectively configured on a left side and a right side of the above receiver in different angles. The robot determines turning directions according to the guiding signals received by the receivers on the body. The robot turns towards the right side or the left side, and when signal strength received by the central receiver goes weak, the robot stops turning, and rotates in situ and searches the guiding signals again. The robot performs fine tuning until the guiding signal strength received by the central receiver is maximum, and the robot returns to the base station to charge.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a robot device, in particular to a device and method for guiding a robot back to a base station. Background technique [0002] With the development of robots, the function of robots automatically charging into the base station is becoming more and more important. A common base station is equipped with a signal transmitter to emit a guidance signal, and the robot is only equipped with a signal receiver and a signal receiving circuit, so that the robot can obtain information about the location of the base station. [0003] However, the signal receiving and transmitting circuits of common base stations and robots are complex in design, and their positioning calculations are time-consuming. In addition, multiple signal receivers and multiple signal transmitters consume a lot of power and are expensive. Furthermore, the general robot uses the absolute value of the strength of the received signal for positioning, which is prone to m...
