Abstract

According to traditional Chinese medicine, the cardiac neurosis belongs to categories of 'palpitation' and 'insomnia'. Timidity due to insufficiency of qi and deficiency of blood of the heat and depression cause stasis and liver dysfunction, which causes blood stasis and heart vessel blockage stasis in course of time, or qi and yin deficiency and loss of nourishment of the mind result in dysfunction of vessels of the heart. The Chinese herba preparation comprises traditional Chinese medicines: large leaf moss, ophiopogon latifolius, lanjiang lily bulb, abrus cantoniensis hance, white selfheal, poncirus trifoliate, pericarpium citri reticulatae viride, corydalis tuber, false hellebore, amber, and radix glycyrrhizae preparata, and all the traditional Chinese medicines are decocted into decoction. Clinical tests of the institute show that the total effective rate reaches 95.8%, so that the Chinese herba preparation is obviously superior to the control group.
