Embodiment Construction

[0022] In practice, the neck 2 is integrally formed with the rest of the container, especially when the latter is a bottle of glass or plastic material, or the neck 2 is adapted to be permanently fixed to the wall of the container, where the opening through the wall middle.

[0023] The neck 2 is generally tubular with a central longitudinal axis X-X. For convenience, the remainder of the description uses the terms "upper" and "top" to correspond to directions generally parallel to the axis X-X and extending from the body of the container towards the free end of its neck 2, i.e. towards up direction, while the terms "down" and "bottom" correspond to opposite directions.

[0024] The neck 2 comprises a generally cylindrical body 3 with a circular bottom and an axis X-X. The body 3 delimits at its top end 4 a rim 4A at the level of which the product contained in the container is to overflow. The outer surface 3A of the main body 3 includes an outer surface 3A1 of the end port...

Abstract

The invention relates to a stopper device (1) comprising an outer cap (10) which can be removably attached to the outer surface (3A) of a neck (2) of a container, and an inner insert (20) capable of closing off the opening of the neck, the insert being adapted to be positioned on the neck separately from the cap and before the positioning of the cap on the neck, and the cap being adapted such that, when the cap positioned on the neck, the same can be permanently secured to the insert. In order to limit the risk of the biological contamination of the neck, particularly during the filling of the container, the insert includes means (22, 23) for retaining same on the neck, said means being adapted such that, before the cap is positioned on the neck, the means mechanically couple the insert to the neck, while sealing at least the outer peripheral surface (3A1) of the free end (4) of the neck from a cleaning liquid applied onto the outside of the neck.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a device for covering the neck of a container. [0002] The present invention generally relates to a cap comprising two main parts, an outer cap and an inner insert, the outer cap being designed to be removably secured around the neck of a container, in particular by screwing-unscrewing, inserting The insert is designed to block the neck in a sealed manner and the insert is permanently secured inside the cover during assembly of the cover. Background technique [0003] Covering devices of this type are known in fields unrelated to the present invention, in which the insert is first added to and permanently fixed inside the outer cover, and only then is the assembly consisting of the insert and the outer cover placed On the neck of the container to be covered. US-A-6 044 995, GB-A-1 316 162 and FR-A-2 219 081 provide examples of such covering means: in all these examples, if the outer cover of the device is not present in conn...
