The rooting agent for raising the cutting seedling of the zelkova serrata can shorten time for rooting and can improve rooting efficiency, a zelkova serrata scion branch processed by the rooting agent can grow axillary buds after around 22 days of cutting, after three days of the buding of the scion branch, little amount of culluses are generated at a lower cutting opening of the scion branch; along with the rising of the temperature, after about 40 days, all axillary buds grow out, spires are grown, and about 80% of scion branch generates calluses; the rooting of the processed scion branch is mainly based on calluses in an intensive and bursting manner; the quantity of roots is large, branch roots are strong and the number of the branch root can even be hundreds.
