Problems solved by technology

This method has many limitations. For example, all alarms need to be put into the cache queue first, which will cause a delay in the reporting of ordinary non-oscillating alarms. In addition, the system cache must be occupied first, and more EMS system operating resources will be occupied. When all vibration alarms are shielded, the NMS system cannot understand and eliminate the hidden dangers of system operation caused by continuous vibration alarms of equipment

Embodiment Construction

[0047] Preferred embodiments of the present invention will be specifically described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings, wherein the accompanying drawings constitute a part of the application and are used together with the embodiments of the present invention to explain the principle of the present invention.

[0048] like figure 1 as shown, figure 1 It is a schematic flow diagram of the method described in the embodiment of the present invention, and the specific flow may include the following steps:

[0049] Step 101: The EMS network element management system receives the alarm message reported by the device, the alarm message includes an alarm report message and an alarm recovery message;

[0050] Step 102: judging whether the received alarm message is an alarm report message or an alarm recovery message, if it is an alarm report message, go to step 103, if it is an alarm recovery message, go to step 109;

[0051] Step 103: According to the alarm reportin...

Abstract

The present invention discloses a method for handling an oscillation alarm in a network management system and an apparatus. The method comprises the steps of determining whether the received message is an alarm reporting message or an alarm resuming message; further determining whether duration of the alarm reporting message is greater than or equal to a predetermined oscillation time threshold value if the alarm reporting message is determined to meet an alarm condition in a predetermined sustained oscillation alarm pool, and if so, determining that an alarm corresponding to the alarm reporting message does not oscillate; reporting the alarm reporting message to the network management system if the alarm reporting message is determined not to meet the alarm condition in the predetermined sustained oscillation alarm pool; and determining whether the duration of the alarm reporting message corresponding to the alarm resuming message is less than the predetermined oscillation threshold value and if so, determining the alarm reporting message corresponding to the alarm resuming message oscillates. The method for handling the oscillation alarm in the network management system and the apparatus achieve shielding of oscillation alarms for the NMS in a network element management system with fewer system resources.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of communication technology, in particular to a method and device for processing oscillation alarms in a network management system. Background technique [0002] In the live network environment, when a telecommunication device generates an alarm, the device first reports to the EMS (Network Element Management System), and then the EMS reports the alarm message of the device to the NMS (Network Management System). The NMS system generates a work order based on the received alarm message, and the operation and maintenance personnel of the telecommunication system can detect and repair the equipment failure in time. After the device fault is repaired, the device will report the alarm recovery message to EMS, and EMS will report the recovery message to NMS, close the derived work order, and the whole process ends. However, due to network instability or abnormal conditions for some reason, a certain network element may fr...
