Problems solved by technology

[0003] At present, there is no unified standard for the measurement of the wear amount of the engine valve seat ring, and the difference between the quality of the valve seat ring before and after the test is mostly used to obtain the wear amount
However, this traditional measurement method has two disadvantages. First, the measurement is inconvenient. The valve seat ring must be removed for weighing, and it has no practical significance for the integrated valve seat ring of the cylinder head. Second, the error is relatively large. The amount of valve wear is a small value. After the cumbersome measurement operations such as disassembly, weighing, reinstallation, and disassembly, it will cause a great error in the measurement and calculation of the actual wear amount.

Abstract

The invention relates to a valve retainer abrasion loss measuring device and method. A cylinder head assembly composed of a valve, a cylinder head and a valve retainer is erected on a cylinder head support, and a laser displacement sensor rightly aligns to the valve. The method includes: equalizing volume of the valve retainer abrasion loss to volume of a boss ring; calculating the height of a trapezoid by measuring recess displacement in the direction of a valve rod when the valve is completely closed before and after abrasion and calculating an included angle between the tangent direction of a contact zone of the valve retainer and the valve and the direction of the valve rod; obtaining an upper bottom and a lower bottom of the trapezoid by measuring contact ring width variations before and after abrasion of the valve retainer; taking the average value from the contact zone before and after abrasion of the valve retainer to the center of the valve retainer as the average radius of the boss ring; calculating the volume of the abraded part of the valve retainer according to the above measured data and calculating abrasion mass of the valve retainer according to material density of the valve retainer. The valve retainer abrasion loss measuring device and method are convenient to measure and with no need of demounting the valve retainer.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of engine detection, and relates to a device and method for measuring the amount of wear of a valve seat ring. Background technique [0002] The engine valve seat ring is one of the important parts in the cylinder head assembly. It cooperates with the valve to seal the cylinder together. The valve seat ring bears a large thermal load and mechanical load, and its working state and reliability are of great significance to the normal operation of the engine. The structural form of the valve seat will directly affect its cooperation with the valve, and the change of the structural form of the valve seat is not only caused by the stamping deformation caused by the gas in the cylinder, but also depends on the amount of contact wear between the valve seat and the valve. Therefore, the measurement and calculation of valve seat ring wear has practical significance. [0003] At present, there is no uniform standard ...
