Embodiment 1

[0033] If the battery pack is fully charged, the detection value of the open circuit voltage of the single vanadium battery is 1500mV; when the battery pack is fully discharged, the detection value of the open circuit voltage of the single vanadium battery is 1100mV.

[0034]Then the single-chip open-circuit voltage detection value of the independent vanadium battery is 1500mV, and the corresponding SOC is 100%; the single-chip open-circuit voltage detection value of the independent vanadium battery is 1100mV, and the SOC is 0%; but:

[0035] SOC=(U r -U dt ) / (U ct -U dt )×100%=(1200-1100) / (1500-1100)×100%=25%

[0036] The results of the examples show that the SOC detection method is simple and convenient for the electric quantity detection of the vanadium battery management system. In order to make up for the deficiency of detecting SOC of the existing vanadium battery management system, the present invention provides a more reliable and convenient method for detecting S...

Abstract

The invention relates to the field of vanadium batteries, in particular to a state of charge (SOS) detection method of a vanadium battery management system. The SOS detection method of the vanadium battery management system aims at electronic quantity detection of the vanadium battery management system, is simple and convenient to use, and resolves the problem that measuring errors are more and more with the use of batteries in the prior art. In order to overcome the defects of the SOS detection in an existing vanadium battery management system, the SOS detection method of the vanadium battery management system calculates the SOS in real time by detecting open-circuit voltage of independent vanadium battery single pieces. The vanadium battery management system monitors the SOS of a vanadium battery pack in real time, and communicates an SOS value to an energy storage inverter and an automatic generation control (AGC) system. The AGC system carries out controlling according to power requirements of a power grid, wind electricity current actual power and the real-time SOS value of the vanadium battery, ensures that the working state of the vanadium battery is adjusted timely and controlled automatically, then the energy storage inverter is dispatched to charge and discharge the vanadium battery, and therefore the power of power grid synchronization is guaranteed to be smooth, and the optimum working state of an energy storage power station is achieved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of vanadium batteries, in particular to an SOC detection method of a vanadium battery management system. Background technique [0002] In the past, the battery state of charge SOC (StateOfCharge) detection methods mainly include battery voltage monitoring method and potential detection method. [0003] The battery voltage detection method uses the functional relationship between the battery voltage and SOC (where: U is the battery voltage, unit: V; solution concentration 1mol / L): [0004] SOC=Exp[(U-1.26) / 0.1184] / {1+Exp[(U-1.26) / 0.1184]}. [0005] The advantage of this method is that the monitoring instrument is simple, the operation is simple and the feasibility is good. Its limitations are: this method cannot be carried out during the charging and discharging process of the battery, and the measurement error will become larger and larger as the battery is used, because the corresponding relationship between the ba...
