Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a video data processing method and a video data processing device. Erroneous judgment can be avoided as much as possible, so that balance between a code rate control effect and image quality is kept. The method provided by the embodiment of the invention comprises the following steps of: calculating a first mean absolute difference MAD histogram of a first image and a first mean square error (MSE) histogram of the first image, wherein the first image is a current frame of image; calculating a difference parameter according to the first MAD histogram and the first MSE histogram; and determining a quantization parameter QP according to the difference parameter. The embodiment of the invention also provides a video data processing device. According to the embodiment of the invention, the erroneous judgment can be effectively avoided, so that the balance between the code rate control effect and the image quality is kept.
