Abstract

The invention provides a P2P (peer-to-peer) node selection method introducing node bandwidth condition constrain. A P2P comprises a source server, a center tracking server and an NP (Network Processor); the method comprises the following steps: step 1,resource information is stored in the source server, and all common node information that constitutes the P2P is collected by the center tracking server; step 2, newly-added common nodes request resource information from the source server and report self information to the center tracking server at the same time; step 3, the center tracking server searches on-line common nodes with favorable conditions in a resource information list according to the information of the newly-added common nodes and informs the newly-added common nodes of the information of the found on-line common nodes; and step 4, the newly-added common nodes send data requests to the on-line common nodes and acquires data of the on-line common nodes. The P2P node selection method has the benefits that set classification can be performed according to the homologous properties of P2P nodes, and the communication efficiency of the P2P nodes can be improved effectively.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of streaming media, and more specifically relates to a P2P node selection method introducing node bandwidth conditional constraints. Background technique [0002] The traditional P2P system consists of two major systems, the server and the client. The server includes a node selection server and a resource server. The client whose data source is the same as the P2P client is downloading is called a node with the same source attribute, and the node server records the information of the node with the same source attribute. When a new node needs to join the P2P system, it first searches for nodes with the same source attribute from the node server, and then selects several nodes with the same source attribute to form a new P2P system. This node selection method does not consider the connectivity, transmission rate and other characteristics between nodes, resulting in the impact of P2P efficiency. Contents of ...
