The invention aims to provide an evaluation method of entire-life-cycle based transformer cost risk, aiming at the problem that researches made domestic and abroad at present mostly focus on the safety calculation of electric equipment, and rarely involve detailed evaluation of risk factors for influencing the entire-life-cycle cost. The method is used for carrying out quantization treatment on risk factors for influencing the entire-life-cycle cost of a transformer, establishing a corresponding evaluation system, and finding out the main problem for influencing performances of the transformer in a specific area. Therefore, the invention provides an evaluation method of entire-life-cycle based transformer cost risk. The method comprises the following steps that: according to the entire-life-cycle running characteristics of the transformer, the entire-life-cycle cost is divided into five parts, on the basis, an entire-life-cycle cost model of the transformer is obtained; and then according to characteristics of each part of cost, the risk factors for influencing the cost are recognized, and the risk factors are subjected to quantization treatment, and a corresponding index system is constructed.
