Embodiment Construction

[0043] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0044] On the basis of extensive research, the present invention combines the needs of the voice-impaired, and absorbs the advantages and disadvantages of the previous voice-assisting systems, and proposes a new voice-assisting method. The principle of this voice-assisting device is to collect multiple myoelectric signals from the mouth, neck or face when the patient "voices". Through the existing prior knowledge, it is "translated" into "language", and then the "language" is converted into a speech signal through speech synthesis technology.

[0045]The method and device for assisted vocalization of myoelectric signals provided by the present invention include an assisted phonation learning process and an assisted emission process, wherein the assisted phonation learning process includes: the patient attaches the myoelectric sensor to a positi...

Abstract

The invention relates to an EMG-based auxiliary sound producing method and a device. The method includes obtaining a prior knowledge base required by auxiliary sound production through the EMG; and identifying words or characters corresponding to sound producing actions based on the prior knowledge base, and synthesizing the character or word speeches. The method for obtaining the prior knowledge base includes: (1) producing a sound of a character or word to be learned, collecting muscular movement caused by the sound producing action and generating a surface EMG (sEMG); (2) transmitting the SEMG relevant to the sound production to a screening and separating module of the sEMG; (3) the screening and separating module of the sEMG processing and extracting the sEMG relevant to the sound production; (4) a voice EMG identifying module extracting eigenvalues of the voice EMG and constructing a corresponding relation between the voice EMG and the sound production of characters or words; and (5) repeating the steps for a plurality of times to obtain the prior knowledge base finally.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a method for assisting vocalization based on electromyographic signals, in particular to a method and device for assisting vocalization based on electromyographic signals. Background technique [0002] According to the results of the second sample survey of disabled persons conducted in 2006, the national population with speech disabilities is 1.27 million, accounting for 1.53%. Dysphonia can seriously affect the quality of life, cause inconvenience in communication, and is a heavy burden on the family and society. [0003] The causes of dysphonia fall into two broad categories—organic and nonorganic. Organic dysphonia stems from the disease of the patient's larynx, especially hemilaryngectomy and total laryngectomy will lead to loss of vocal function; non-organic dysphonia is mostly a loss of voice caused by mental factors. [0004] Non-organic dysphonia, also known as psychogenic dysphonia, manifests as hoarseness o...
