Abstract

A device for testing shielding effectiveness of electromagnetic shielding fabric comprises a shielding box, a signal transmitting device, a signal receiving device and a fabric holder. The shielding box is manufactured by a metal shielding plate with a smooth inner portion. A front sealing door and a back sealing door used for a wire to pass are arranged at the front end and the back end of the shielding box respectively, and a shielding frame and the fabric holder are arranged in the shielding box. The signal transmitting device is mainly composed of a signal generator, a transmission antenna and a transmission support. The signal receiving device is mainly composed of a signal receiver, a network analyzer and a receiving support. The device and the method are simple and quick in testing operation and capable of testing shielding effectiveness of the electromagnetic shielding fabric. The device is accurate and reliable in testing result and capable of well evaluating shielding performance of the electromagnetic shielding fabric. An inner and outer hole wire leading method increases closeness of the shielding box, positions of the signal transmission antenna and the signal receiver are convenient to adjust, testing universality is increased, matching of the shielding frame and the fabric holder enables testing to be accurate.
