Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method and equipment for allocating a physical hybrid automatic repeat request (ARQ) indicator channel (PHICH), and user equipment (UE). The method for allocating the PHICH comprises the following steps of: determining a PHICH index number which corresponds to an uplink data transmission block according to extended parameters, a demodulation reference signal cyclic shifting value which is indicated in a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) and a minimum label index value of a physical resource block (PRB) which is occupied by the uplink data transmission block, wherein the extended parameters comprise parameters special for a cell and parameters special for the UE; and allocating the PHICH to the uplink data transmission block according to the PHICH index number. By adoption of the method and the equipment for allocating the PHICH and the UE provided by the embodiment of the invention, an adjustment range in which a base station allocates the PHICH to the UE is expanded according to the extended parameters and the demodulation reference signal cyclic shifting value.
