The ash self-cleaning type heat storage device comprises a shell and a heat storage body, wherein the heat storage body is placed in the shell; a low temperature flue gas passage and a low temperature combustion-supporting air passage, which are communicated with the low temperature side of the heat storage body, are arranged at the top of the shell; a high temperature flue gas passage and a high temperature combustion-supporting air passage, which are communicated with the high temperature side of the heat storage body, are arranged at the bottom of the shell; and ash unloading valves are respectively arranged on the high temperature flue gas passage and the high temperature combustion-supporting air passage. The ash self-cleaning type heat storage device provided by the invention has the advantages that simple structure and low cost are achieved, ashes can be automatically cleaned and periodically discharged, the efficiency of the heat storage device is increased and the service life of the heat storage device is prolonged.
