Abstract

The invention discloses an establishing method of a data radio bearer on an air interface. The method includes receiving an indication of integrity protection ability of the data radio bearer (DRB) sent by a relay node (RN); if the RN does not support the integrity protection of the DRB, establishing the DRB without the integrity protection with the RN or not establishing the DRB with the RN. According to the establishing method and a device, whether the RN supports the DRB integrity protection can be informed through a donor evolved node B (DeNB), therefore when the RN does not support the integrity protection ability of the DRB, the DRB without the integrity protection can be established with the RN, or the DRB cannot be established with the RN, and false data transmission on the DRB caused by inconsistent negotiation of the DeNB with the RN can be avoided.
