Problems solved by technology

This method will face the following inconveniences when dealing with the cylindrical whip antenna on the ship: 1. The number of discrete planar element grids is huge. Since the ship target itself has a large number of discrete planar element grids, coupled with the huge number of grid elements The cylindrical whip antenna often leads to the failure of calculation; 2. The planar element fitting the cylindrical surface will cause simulation errors, and the planar element simulated surface may still form significant simulation errors even under the condition of more surface elements
Moreover, these two inconveniences are related to each other
If the number of plane element grids is reduced, the simulation error is obviously larger; if the simulation error is to be reduced, the number of plane element grids needs to be further increased, resulting in the calculation often being impossible

Embodiment Construction

[0018] The present invention is further described below in conjunction with specific examples.

[0019] (1) Single-station RCS calculation in the horizontal direction of the cylindrical whip antenna;

[0020] The calculation parameters are as follows (assuming only one whip antenna is loaded), H is 10m, r is 0.05m, and λ is 0.03m (corresponding to 10GHz).

Abstract

The invention provides a method for predicting a horizontal electromagnetic scattering mean of a ship loaded with a cylindrical whip antenna. The method comprises the following steps: 1), according to geometric information of the cylindrical whip antenna loaded on the ship, computing single station RCS (radar cross section) values in the horizontal direction of the cylindrical whip antenna by a physical optical estimating formula; 2), establishing a geometrical model of the ship except the cylindrical whip antenna, and computing the mean of the single station RCS values in the horizontal direction of the geometrical model by a conventional ship electromagnetic scattering predicting method; and 3), superposing an RCS algebraic sum of the single station RCS values in the horizontal direction of the cylindrical whip antenna and the mean of the single station RCS values in the horizontal direction of the geometrical model of the ship except the cylindrical whip antenna by adopting a random phase summing method, so as to obtain the horizontal electromagnetic scattering mean of the ship loaded with the cylindrical whip antenna. The cylindrical whip antenna and the other components of the ship are computed separately, so that the grid number and the corresponding computation amount are maintained on a magnitude when the whip antenna is not loaded, and the difficulty that computation cannot be carried out by a planar element method can be avoided.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of electromagnetic compatibility, and in particular relates to a method for predicting the mean value of horizontal electromagnetic scattering of a ship loaded with a cylindrical whip antenna. Background technique [0002] For the needs of communication, cylindrical whip antennas are often loaded on ship targets, and their electromagnetic scattering peaks generally appear in the horizontal direction (that is, in the horizontal plane). How to effectively predict the Ship goals are very important. [0003] According to the physical optics scattering prediction formula of conductor cylinders, in the microwave frequency band, the horizontal single-station RCS value of a typical conductor cylinder (10m, 15m, etc.) can reach 1000m 2 Above! Therefore, the contribution of multiple cylindrical whip antennas to ship electromagnetic scattering is more significant. The existing main ship electromagnetic scattering prediction me...
