Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device for diagnosing performance bottleneck The method comprises the steps: dividing a transaction measured by TPC-C (transaction processing performance council-cost) into a plurality of minimum links; when a TPC-C value obtained by TPC-C performance test reaches a predetermined performance reference value, obtaining first time consumed by each minimum link of the transaction; when the TPC-C value obtained by TPC-C performance test reaches a predetermined performance bottleneck value, obtaining second time consumed by each minimum link of the transaction; respectively comparing the first times and the second times of the minimum links, determining the minimum link with the second time greater than the first time as the bottleneck link; and determining a root reason corresponding to the bottleneck link according to a preset expert library, wherein the expert library is used for storing phenomena corresponding to the bottleneck link and corresponding relation of the reason.
