Problems solved by technology

Problems related to economic benefits, such as high feed cost or unsatisfactory feeding effect, have always been important reasons restricting the industrialization of housefly breeding.
Too much nitrogen in the feed can easily lead to protein poisoning and waste of feed; but insufficient protein can cause animal growth stagnation, poor growth and development, low survival rate, and reduced reproduction rate. It shows that the feed should maintain a certain ratio of carbon to nitrogen.

Abstract

The invention provides a feed for larvae of houseflies, which is prepared by using the following components by weight percent: 35% of nutrition source and 65% of water, wherein the nutrition source is a mixture of any two of pig manure, beer residues and straw powder. Agricultural and industrial byproducts and leftovers are taken as the raw materials of the feed for the larvae of houseflies provided by the invention; the source is wide; and the reutilization of resource is realized. Compared with the prior art, the feed has the advantages that the cost of the feed is greatly reduced and the total output and daily output of fresh maggot are obviously increased. Besides, during the process of feeding with the feed provided by the invention, the peculiar smell of the feed is gradually reduced till disappearing, so that the peculiar smell of the leftovers is eliminated, and the multiple effects of reusing biological resources, reducing environmental pollution and purifying environment are achieved.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of insect breeding, and specifically relates to a housefly larva feed and a method for preparing the feed. Background technique [0002] Housefly (Musca domestica Linnaeus) belongs to Insecta, Diptera, Cycloschiidae, Muscidae, Musca domestica, and is one of the most common and abundant insects in most parts of my country. [0003] Housefly is an important economical insect. Its larvae (fly maggots) are rich in nutritional value and have been used as a high-quality feed protein resource for a long time. It can replace part of fish meal as feed for livestock, poultry and fish. Higher value-added amino acid and traditional Chinese medicine feed additives can also be used to develop edible and nourishing health products, extract chitin, develop new antibacterial drugs, antimicrobial peptides, and produce high-efficiency organic fertilizers. They have high economic value. To improve the economic benefits of housefly breeding, on...
