The invention discloses a Chinese herbal prescription for treating coccidiosis in chicken, which is prepared from sweet wormwood herb, antifeverile dichroa root, rhynohophylla, quisqualis indica, hairyvein agrimony, sanguisorba officinalis, rhizoma atractylodis, coptis, golden cypress, fructus gardeniae praeparatus, andrographis paniculata, philippine violet herb, dried orange peel and liquorice.The prescription has an obvious inhabiting effect on CVCC-245 bacterial strains of Escherichia coli; and coccidiosis ova artificial infection control experiments show that the effective rate is 94.17-99.17%, the field application and popularization tests show that the effective rate is 95.1%, and the application of the prescription has an obvious control effect and safety in use. The prescriptionhas the efficacies of coccidiosis killing, hemostasis, dampness resolving, spleen invigorating and diarrhea relieving with astringents.
