Abstract

The invention discloses a bolt fault monitoring system. The system comprises: a detection element (1), a control element (2) and an alarm element (5). The detection element (1) is used to detect a load or a response of a connected piece (4) which is connected through a bolt (3) and acquire a corresponding load signal or a response signal. The control element (2) is used to receive the load signal or the response signal and compare the load or the response with a predetermined threshold. When the load or the response is out of a threshold scope, the control element (2) makes the alarm element (5) emit an early warning signal. The alarm element (5) is used to emit the early warning signal according to an instruction emitted by the control element (2). Through detecting load changes or response changes of the connected piece, the bolt can be monitored whether to have a fault. A plurality of bolts on the connected piece can be simultaneously monitored so that fault monitoring of a bolt group can be realized. The invention also discloses a bolt fault monitoring method.
