The processing method comprises the steps of: receiving a control command sent by a cloud switch server, wherein the control command carries correspondence of a virtual machine on each port of the cloud intelligence switch and network characteristic information, the cloud switch server allocates corresponding network characteristic information for each virtual machine and stores the correspondence of the virtual machine on each port and the network characteristic information; and according to the correspondence, determining the network characteristic information corresponding to the virtual machine where data to be processed is from, and switching the data to be processed by adopting the corresponding network characteristic information. The embodiment of the invention can meet individualized demands of different virtual machines.
