Abstract

The invention relates to a heat treatment process of ZL116 alloy castings. The heat treatment process is characterized by comprising the following steps: 1) checking, namely checking whether the batch numbers of a casting furnace and a sample furnace are same or not and cleaning coked crystals and greasy dirts on the castings; 2) charging, namely placing the castings at the center of the furnace below 300 DEG C and leaving gaps between the castings; 3) quenching, namely heating to 535+ / -5 DEG C, keeping the temperature for 16 hours and soaking the castings in 20-40 DEG C of water, wherein the transfer time is no more than 15s and the soaking time is no less than 2 minutes; and 4) performing aging treatment, namely heating to 175+ / -5 DEG C, keeping the temperature for 8 hours and performing air cooling. By adopting the heat treatment process, the strength of the ZL116 alloy castings can be increased, the elongation rate can be improved; and the comprehensive mechanical performance is better and more stable, the performance indexes of the technical requirements can be met and the residual stress of heat treatment can be eliminated better.
