The CFP optical transceiver with the interleaver is used for 40G or 100G LR4 and ER4 type CFP communication systems, has the advantages of simple structure and low cost, and is easy to package and produce in batches. In the structure, coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) / local area network-wavelength division multiplexing (LAN-WDM) optical signals with four wavelengths are multiplexed into two groups of optical signals by the 2:1 modified multiplexers (2:1MUX), and then the two groups of optical signals enter the same optical fiber by the interleaver.
