Problems solved by technology

If it is discharged together with the waste liquid and not recycled, a lot of raw materials will be wasted and the production cost of TBHQ will be increased. In addition, hydroquinone is a kind of organic chemical raw material, which has strong toxicity and will cause environmental damage when the waste liquid is discharged. serious pollution

Embodiment 1

[0020] Take 1000mL of waste liquid produced in the production process of tert-butylhydroquinone, add phosphoric acid to adjust its pH to pH=3.5, stir vigorously for 30 minutes, heat and concentrate until the remaining solution volume is 400mL, cool to room temperature to precipitate hydroquinone crystals , collected about 25 grams of solid by filtration, washed the solid with 10 mL of ice water, and dried in a nitrogen atmosphere of 0.08 MPa and 75° C. to obtain 21.8 grams of crystalline hydroquinone. GC detection results showed that the content of hydroquinone was 98.8%.

Embodiment 2

[0022] Take 1000mL of waste liquid produced in the production process of tert-butylhydroquinone, add phosphoric acid to adjust its pH to pH=3.5, stir vigorously for 30 minutes, heat and concentrate until the remaining solution volume is 200mL, cool to room temperature to precipitate hydroquinone crystals , collected about 37 grams of solid by filtration, washed the solid with 14 mL of ice water, and dried in a nitrogen atmosphere of 0.08 MPa and 75° C. to obtain 30.6 grams of crystalline hydroquinone. GC detection results showed that the content of hydroquinone was 98.4%.

Embodiment 3

[0024] Take 1000mL of waste liquid produced during the production of tert-butylhydroquinone, add hydrochloric acid to adjust its pH to pH=4.0, stir vigorously for 30 minutes, heat and concentrate until the remaining solution volume is 200mL, cool to room temperature to precipitate hydroquinone crystals , collected about 36.2 grams of solid by filtration, washed the solid with 14 mL of ice water, and dried in a nitrogen atmosphere of 0.09 MPa and 90° C. to obtain 30.3 grams of crystalline hydroquinone. GC detection results showed that the content of hydroquinone was 98.5%.

Abstract

The invention discloses a method for recovering hydroquinone serving as a raw material from waste liquid produced in a production process of tert butyl hydroquinone. The method comprises the following steps of: adding an acid into the waste liquid produced in a process of producing the tert butyl hydroquinone until the waste liquid is acidic; heating and condensing to remove most solvent; coolingto a room temperature to separate hydroquinone crystals; filtering and collecting the separated hydroquinone crystals; washing the obtained crystals with water; and performing vacuum drying to obtainthe hydroquinone. The method has the advantages that: the process is simple, convenient and feasible to operate; the loss of equipment is low; the environment cannot be polluted; and the recovered hydroquinone has high purity and good color and luster, and can be used as the raw material directly after drying.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for recovering raw material hydroquinone from waste liquid produced in the production process of tert-butylhydroquinone. Background technique [0002] tert-butylhydroquinone Chemical name: 2-tert-butylhydroquinone [0003] English name: 2-t-butyl-1, 4-dihydroxybenzene [0004] Hydroquinone chemical name 1,4-benzenediol [0005] English name hydroquinone [0006] Tert-butylhydroquinone (TBHQ) is a commonly used food antioxidant, which can be widely used in food, feed, petroleum products and other fields. Its anti-oxidation performance is better than other similar products (BHA, BHT), especially the best anti-oxidation effect in oil and its products. At present, the synthetic production process of TBHQ is relatively mature, and the domestic and foreign technical levels are comparable. The production of TBHQ mainly uses hydroquinone (HQ) as a raw material, and uses an acid as a cat...
