The invention can realize the multihop data transmission of an LTE (Long Term Evolution) network under the condition of introducing a relay station. The routing method of the multihop relay network comprises the following steps of: receiving channel information reported by user equipment or a route updating request launched by the user equipment through the relay station; updating the routing table items of the user equipment according to the received channel information or the route updating request; and transmitting updating information to a relay station to be accessed by the user equipment or the relay station launching the route updating request. The embodiment of the invention is suitable for a routing scheme of the LTE network after the relay station is introduced.
