The floppy drive module comprises a floppy drive controller, a control circuit and a display, wherein the floppy drive controller is provided with a first control end, a second control end and a plurality of third control ends; the first control end and the second control end can respectively output a first control signal and a second control signal; the first control signal and the second control signal respectively serve as signals for controlling a floppy drive, and the state changes of the first control signal and the second control signal are almost coincident; the display is provided with a fourth control end and a plurality of data ends, and the data ends can be coupled with parts of the third control ends; and in addition, the control circuit can utilize the first control signal to substitute for the second control signal to control the floppy drive, and can send the second control signal to the fourth control end, so that the display can display a status message when the floppy drive is in an idle state.
