Embodiment Construction

[0023] The present invention will be further described below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0024] figure 1 It includes the main components of the present invention: a luminous tube constituting an outgoing light source, an opaque light-isolation sleeve for optical isolation, a photosensitive tube receiving reflected light, a microprocessor and related circuits, and a signal output line. The light source adopts infrared emission tube.

[0025] figure 2 It is to use less light-emitting light sources and use the diffuse reflection of light to form the light outlet next to the photosensitive area.

[0026] image 3 It is shown that there is a special photosensitive area in the center of the ring-shaped distribution of photosensitive areas. The ring-shaped photosensitive area is used to move the cursor, and when the photosensitive area in the center is activated, the cursor stops moving.

Abstract

The invention discloses an electronic input device operated by reflected light. Compared with a keyboard and a mouse which are operated by light pens, the electronic input device operated by reflected light has the advantages of high speed, convenient use, easy operation, lower cost and the like. The electronic input device of the invention comprises an emergent light source corresponding to a light signal receiver, wherein some light sensitive elements are distributed on the surface of the receiver, and emergent light exists beside the light sensitive elements; the emergent light can be reflected to the light sensitive elements through fingers or other reflectors to form excitation signals; and a microprocessor in the receiver analyzes the position and the motion mode of the light beam received by the light sensitive elements and inputs the corresponding signals to the computer.

Description

technical field [0001] This invention relates to devices and methods for inputting information into computers and other electronic systems using reflected light beams. More particularly, the present invention relates to keyboards, mice, and new methods of use using reflected light beams. Background technique [0002] Patent ZL200410065080.5 discloses a device and method for inputting information to a computer with a hand-held light beam, which effectively avoids injuries such as repetitive strain injuries to the limbs caused by the use of key-press keyboards and mice. The patent application with application number 200710019496.7 proposes some methods of improving optical stability and improving use efficiency, making the mouse and keyboard operated by light beams more practical. However, in the above inventions, a specially designed light pen is used to operate, which not only increases the cost, but also brings inconvenience in use and limits the input speed of the keyboard...
