Abstract

The invention can automatically select a most attracted salient region in a video by calculating a saliency distribution graph of a sampling frame. Based on the extracted salient region, the method automatically obtains advertising signs associated with the salient region in an advertisement base through a plurality of retrieval methods. Finally the method synchronously plays the video clip and queried advertisement information to a user.
