Abstract

The invention discloses an adapter used for outputting data in data flow to XML files and a method thereof, belonging to the field of database ETL. In the prior art, the data flow task of SQLServer2005 integration service does not provide a function which can directly output the data in the data flow to an XML file. By using the adapter and the method of the invention, users can output the data obtained from a pipeline of the data flow task to the target XML files through an instruction template of the target XML files generated by a certain format in advance. By adopting the adapter and the method of the invention, the data of the pipeline of the data flow task can be output to the target XML files effectively and flexibly according to a set format.
