Abstract

The invention discloses a video monitoring system based on the network and a video monitoring method based on the network. The system comprises a monitoring terminal, a central platform and a video wall; wherein, the central platform is used to store media code stream sent by the monitoring terminal and distribute the media code stream to a channel of the video wall; and the video wall is used to convert the media code stream into analog audio and video signals and play video monitor recording.
