Abstract

The invention relates to a decorative material, especially a decorative wire rod for decorative lamp and a manufacturing method for decorative wire rod. The decorative wire rod comprises core wire and outer sheet. The core wire is made of metal or PET. Reflecting layer is set on the surface of core wire and the outer sheet is transparent PVC material. The manufacturing method for decorative wire rod comprises following procedures. Firstly, the reflecting layer is set on the surface of core wire. Secondly, the outer sheet is set on the surface of core wire by extruding formation. In the first step, the method for setting reflecting layer is one of laser processing, surface spraying and electroplating. Furthermore, thirdly, torsion processing is carried out; namely the decorative wire rod after extruding formation is processed in torsion. The invention provides a decorative wire rod, which is not afraid of weather and whose gloss can be maintained permanently. The invention also provides the manufacturing method for decorative wire rod.
