Abstract

This invention discloses a photo bioreactor, which is a small-scale photo bioreactor with such advantages as simple production, low cost and high microalgae culture efficiency. A transparent bioreactor is mounted on a base. The air vent at the upper part of the transparent bioreactor is sealed, and equipped with an air pipe. The air pipe is connected with air filter, three-way regulative valve and air compressor in sequence. An exhaust mouth is set at the side of the transparent bioreactor, which is sealed and equipped with an air pipe. A bacteria-filtration membrane or filter medium is set at the bottom end of the air pipe. Multiple light sources surround the transparent bioreactor on the base. The photo bioreactor realizes the preparation of compressed sterile air by using the air compressor and the filter, and the adjustment of the sterile air flux into the reactor by using the three-way regulative valve. The photo bioreactor can thus realize the adjustment of dissolved CO2 concentration in microalgae culture system and the stirring degree, and ensure uniform nutrition distribution in the system. The photo bioreactor has such advantages as simple production.
