Abstract

This invention discloses a kind of method, which ensures each mono-board software edition of the switchboard are consistent. It concludes: (1) when setting up software, the service board saves the edition information; (2) the master control board saves edition information of software in the edition assorted data area. The said software are those all kinds of service board software that are compatible with the master control board; (3) the service board sends the log-on message to master control board. This message contains edition information of the software used by the said service board; (4) after receiving the log-on message, the master control board compares the edition information of service board software with the edition information saved in the edition assorted data area. If they are same, the log-on process will continue; if not, the log-on process will stop. The alarm information of edition inconsistency is reported. The software edition checking operation is undertaken in the log-on process. Thus, it avoids the switchboard delaying result from inconsistency between service board and master control board software.
