Abstract

This invention provides a QoS protection method for a digital family network, which defines the optimum path for data transmission in the network, in which, two communicating sides transmit a conventioned data packet with the best priority before beginning transmitting data and the data packet determines the service parameter and transmitted priority needed by data transmission then the network assings a bandwidth for the data transmission on a best path based on said priority and the service parameter to guarantee the transmission quality in a digital family network.
