Abstract

The invention relates to a digital contents delivery method, in particular to a HDCP processing method for a receiver which is connected with a DVI repeater. The method comprises the stages as follow: the first stage, whether the repeater and the receiver are applicable to the HDCP or not is judged so as to deliver the digital contents of the transmitter into a plurality of receivers through a repeater; the second stage, whether the delivered contents are protective contents or not is judged when at least one receiver is not applicable to the HDCP according to the judge result; the third stage, the note receivers not applicable to the HDCP are connected is outputted through the OSD in the event that the delivered contents are protective contents; the fourth stage, the receivers not applicable to the HDCP are eliminated by customer according to the note of OSD; and the fifth stage, the rest receivers are applicable to the HDCP and are used for delivering the digital contents after eliminating the receivers not applicable to the HDCP. The invention has the advantages of preventing the protective contents from being displayed without being filtered when the receivers of HDCP fail to be connected with the repeaters.

Description

technical field The invention relates to a digital content delivery method, in particular to a HDCP processing method in a receiver connected to a DVI-transponder. Background technique DVI (Digital Visual Interface) means a digital interface between host devices such as computers and set-top boxes and display devices such as monitors and digital TVs. Recently, with the increasing number of digital display devices, it is necessary not only to apply the above-mentioned DVI as an interface specification between digital display devices, but also to meet the user's requirement that one host device can control multiple display devices. Generally use a distributor (distribtor) to realize the purpose of controlling multiple display devices by one host device. The interface state between the above-mentioned distributor and the display device connected thereto will be described below with reference to the accompanying drawings. Figure 1 is a display diagram of a common DVI-HDCP...
