[0021] The following symbols will be used in this manual. (X is a drawing number) X0 is a sounder; X1 is a sound hole and a sound channel; X2, X3, and X4 are pump units, pump actuators, and pump components; X5 is a buffer volume; X6 and X7 are modulation units, valves , Valve components; X8 is a sensor for flow, pressure and / or temperature measurement; X9 is a sound network, protective film, and other components.

[0022] FIG. 1 shows the basic structure of a sound generator 10 comprising an air pump 12 and a buffer volume 15 . The air throughput-output acceleration q°(t) of the air pump 12 is controlled by the integrated pump controller 16 according to the required sound signal p(t), and is used as a monopole sound source through the sound channel 11 in an emergency. As long as the wavelength of the radiated sound is larger than the diameter of the sound channel 11, it will work. From a plurality of such single-pole radiators, line, surface and volume radiators can be combi...

Abstract

The aim of the invention is to produce a sound generator for eliminating interference by means of sound absorption and for reproducing signals, speech and music. The sound is preferably generated by means of micro- and nano-mechanical air pumps (12) whose output flow is controlled by the actuator (16) according to the required sound signal and exits via a sound channel (11); the complementary channel (11') acting on a closed buffer volume (15). As with conventional loudspeaker enclosures, the function of the buffer volume (15) is to make an acoustic monopole radiator out of the ineffective dipole of the sound channel (11) and the channel (11'). In the case of air pumps (12) with high pressure ratios, the necessary buffer volume is correspondingly small. The sound-generating volume flow is measured in the sound channel (11) by means of a micromechanical flowmeter (18) and can be readjusted according to a comparison of the desired value and the actual value. Finally, a bore (19) with a high flow resistance balances out air pressure fluctuations and drift errors in the buffer volume (15).

Description

technical field [0001] The subject of the invention is a sound generator for eliminating interference by means of sound absorbers, for reproducing speech and music, and for acoustic alarm and information signals. Background technique [0002] The conventional solution for this field of application is a motorized loudspeaker with its specific form. Especially in the low frequency range, the problem with this technique is the large structural volume required due to the elastic stiffness of the air in the atmosphere. With bass-reflex loudspeakers, a reduction in resonance elasticity is achieved and through it a reduction in contained volume, albeit at the expense of worsening frequency and phase response. A disadvantage of mobile use in particular of electric loudspeakers is that they are less efficient and the associated short loading cycles. Other solutions use pneumatic energy as the actuator. For example, a ship's siren with a rotating interrupter plate...
