The invention relates to an application of omentin in preparation of a preparation for inhibiting intestinal inflammatory factor secretion of colitis. The invention relates to an application of omentin in preparation of a preparation for inhibiting intestinal inflammatory factor secretion of colitis. The invention relates to an application of an intestinal inflammatory cytokine in preparation of a preparation for inhibiting expression of omentin. According to the invention, omentum reduces secretion of intestinal inflammatory factors of colitis induced by dextran sodium sulfate (DSS), and effectively improves intestinal inflammation; meanwhile, a corresponding scheme is provided aiming at the adjustment of the omentum element.
