Abstract

A digital measurement device according to the present invention comprises: a cradling unit on which a measurement target is placed; and a measurement unit for measuring the length of the measurement target and providing a reference value for adjusting the length of a new measurement target by means of the measurement value of the measured measurement target. The measurement unit measures the length of the measurement target by using at least one of the following types: a movement type in which same interferes with the measurement target that enters the cradling unit, and accordingly calculates the distance of movement; an emission type in which same emits a measurement signal toward the measurement target and accordingly calculates the length of the measurement target on the basis of the sensed measurement signal information; and a scanning type in which same scans the measurement target. The above configuration ensures that, through a simple structure, the accuracy of measuring the length of the measurement target can be improved.
