The antenna carrier plate (14) is electrically conductive and thus forms an electrical counterpoise to the monopole antenna (12). The antenna-retaining device (10) also comprises an electrically conductive tab element as a counterpoise extension (24). The antenna carrier plate (14) and the counterpoise extension (24) are interconnected.
