Abstract

The invention discloses a method for evaluating the cold resistance of rice in the seedling stage based on principal component analysis, and the method comprises the steps: adopting a principal component analysis method to comprehensively evaluate the cold resistance of rice germplasm resources in the seedling stage, wherein the correlation analysis results show that six physiological indexes and morphological indexes have negative correlation; converting seven measured single indexes into three independent comprehensive indexes through principal component analysis, wherein the cumulative contribution rate reaches 84.76%; according to the comprehensive index D value, dividing germplasm resources into five types, and screening out the four varieties with extremely high comprehensive cold resistance in the seedling stage in total; wherein the principal component and regression combined analysis results show that the seven indexes can be used as important indexes for identifying the seedling-stage cold resistance of the rice germplasm resources. The method disclosed by the invention has guiding significance for seedling-stage cold-resistant rice variety cultivation.
