Abstract

The invention relates to the technical field of application of neutral polysaccharide from Brassica rapa L., and particularly discloses application of the neutral polysaccharide from Brassica rapa L.in preparation of antioxidant drugs. Indexes in serum and whole brain and liver homogenate of mice in a D-galactose-induced aging mouse model and a control group are determined, respectively. It is found that the neutral polysaccharide from Brassica rapa L. has an antioxidant effect on the D-galactose-induced aging mouse model. The invention finds, for the first time, that the neutral polysaccharide from Brassica rapa L. significantly increases the activity of SOD, T-AOC, CAT, GSH and GSH-Px in serum and whole brain and liver homogenate, and significantly reduces the MDA content, thereby improving antioxidant ability and delaying senescence.
