Abstract

The invention discloses a method for optimizing parameters of an excitation system of a generator set. The method is used for optimizing the parameters of the excitation system of the generator set byoptimizing an additional difference adjustment coefficient, excitation dynamic gain and PSS gain of the excitation system of the generator set on the basis of meeting the dynamic performance requirements of the generator set. The method comprises the following steps that 1, the curve relation of damping torque coefficient increment changing along with additional difference adjustment is determined according to specific generator set parameters and operation conditions, and the additional difference adjustment coefficient is optimized to improve damping; and 2,the excitation dynamic gain and the PSS gain are optimized on the basis of meeting the dynamic performance requirements of the unit. The dynamic stability level of the regional power grid is improved by optimizing the additional difference adjustment, the excitation dynamic gain and the PSS gain of the excitation system of the generator set.
